quality, vineyard-designate Syrahs and Rhône style blends.  Owners Ben and Diana Davis came to Sonoma from Florida to pursue Ben’s dream of making wines whose unique personalities display the qualities of the vineyard.  To this end, Ben selects extraordinary vineyards in northern California and southern Oregon located in microclimates that are particularly well-suited to the Rhône varieties.  More importantly, he seeks out growers who understand his mission of quality and are willing to help him accomplish it.  Ben’s restrained winemaking style creates wines that are truly the purest expression of the land from which they came.  Tallulah’s current release includes the 2004 Sonoma Coast Syrah, 2004 Del Rio Oregon Syrah and 2004 Bald Mountain Ranch Mt. Veeder Syrah.  Each of these wines is showing beautifully now but will continue to develop nuance in bottle for years to come.
