center of town.  Because the wines are produced in small quantities, they receive the utmost care and attention, which is reflected in the taste, color and aroma of the wines.  Charles painstakingly manages all aspects of farming the 50 acres of vineyard, including operations and personally overseeing the winemaking process.  2007 marks Charles’ 23rd year as manager and owner of Heintz Ranch.  He continually strives to learn new techniques, keeping up with the latest tools and innovations.  In addition to producing approximately 1,500 cases of the own wine each year, the remaining Heintz Ranch fruit is sold to local Sonoma and Napa wineries, such as Derbès, DuMol, Flowers, Littorai, Williams-Selyem, and Vyenielo.  Charles prides himself on working closely with the winemakers and delivering quality fruit, consistently, each and every year.
